Single Ladies

We've all heard the, "If you like it then you should have put a ring on it" line by now. And for some unlucky fellas out there, I bet a girl or two recited the whole song (with dance) to you. But Beyonce, we know you are married to the Jigga Man himself, but where is your ring? Your message is cool and all, but shouldn't you practice what you preach? So, "All the single ladies! Put your hand up!" only if you know that you are getting a ring. And lets take it a step further, make sure you put a ring on it, too. You man deserves one now. We all bask in the new age of the new millennium women of independence, so if you are independent put you hand up and put a ring on your man! But lets be real, a ring doesn't mean marriage. It doesn't mean he will stay or stray. A ring is just a ring. Yes the symbol of it is nice and all, but what does it really say about your relationship? That one day you will get married? Or that you are in a happy committed relationship? Or are you trying to front like you have a man to keep away the scrubs? Whatever the situation is, a ring is just a ring. But a true relationship is worth so much more than what that ring is suppose to represent.

I will admit it... My generation is so stupid. Yes we are! Most of us now take relationships for granted. And even I am a victim of what I like to call the FPR. The Forever Perfect Relationship. Not realizing that relationships aren't perfect, and trying to make them perfect will ruin your relationship. Please believe, I am not defending the dog of some men I have dated. But, My melody out there, my music my love, if i can change so much... I still wouldn't because even though we fussed and fought, we walked away from each other, caused mad scenes. I love him more. Being single is cool. It gives me time to reflect on what happened and to grow from it. And for me (as some of the smarties should do) You should also ask yourself, was it worth it, and is it worth going back to. All but one... NO, but my music, my love, faster then a second. It's time for Mrs. Jigga to write a song about what a true undying love and break is. And no, Irreplaceable does not count. First because Ne-Yo wrote it. But speaking of him, he hit it on the nail when he came out with his single Part of the List.Of course we all have our own signature break up song or two. I for one have dozens, especially now. But single ladies, love your men. Single single ladies, when you find that one right man, please don't be stupid and tell him to put a ring on it. YOU CAN NOT FORCE A MAN TO DO ANYTHING!! If anything you will most likely fold and wait and be stupid with dumb dumb while he creeps with other single ladies before he puts a ring on it. Take it from me, just trust, don't rush and just live in the moment if you want our ring. Because making him jealous going to the club is forcing him to do something that he is not ready to do. So you better move on or move out if you take Beyonce's advice. Just chill and everything will work itself out. Then you can really put a ring on it and mean it. Now, "Put your hands up"!
